Unlike a barony, which is lead by a Baron and Baroness, a shire is overseen by the Seneschal. In addition to being the point of contact for the shire as a whole, the Seneschal also:

• Serves as the Shire’s main administrator and legal point-of-contact
• Enforces Society and Kingdom policies, ensuring procedure is followed
• Oversees and coordinates the efforts of Shire officers
• Presides at Shire business meetings
• Signs-off and approves official Shire events

CHATELAINE

The Chatelaine is responsible for member recruitment and outreach. They serve as the welcome committee for new members help by answering questions, helping identify interests, and connecting them with people and resources to better their journey. The Chatelaine also focuses on member retention and camaraderie within the Shire.

The Exchequer is the financial administrator, responsible for tracking and reporting spending and income.
